Applicant Companies must register in order to submit an application for SGIP incentives.

Applicant Registration

All applications must designate a registered Developer in order to submit an application. Even if the Applicant Company and Developer are the same entity, the Developer must register explicitly through this form.

Developer Registration

The Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) is currently closed to new applications. At this time, the SGIP is undergoing regulatory modifications and a 2017 program opening date will be announced after modifications are finalized by the California Public Utilities Commission.


Please note, the SGIP Program Administrators (PA) will be hosting an SGIP Quarterly Workshop on March 10, 2017 in San Francisco. The purpose of this workshop is to provide information regarding program opening, regulatory modifications, and to answer stakeholder questions. Event details and agenda will be posted to the service list prior to the workshop.


The 2016 program is currently closed and Program Administrators are not accepting new applications at this time. The budget for the 2017 program will consist of Authorized Collections in addition to Authorized Carryover funds from the previous year. The updated budget will be announced prior to program opening.
